Dorothy Vreeker
Director, Digital Media
As Director of Digital Media, Dorothy is responsible for the development, production and promotion of all of Breakthrough Entertainment's interactive properties.
With over fifteen years of experience in digital media, Dorothy has produced interactive projects on a wide range of platforms – from online games to console to mobile to ITV. Leveraging Breakthrough’s diverse programming onto other platforms, requires working closely with broadcasters, television producers, writers and teams of creative developers. Under Dorothy’s helm Breakthrough has won the Canadian New Media Award for 'Excellence in Gaming' for Captain Flamingo: Uh-Oh Flamingo! (YTV) and been nominated for Kenny vs Spenny: Versusville (CBC) and Garage Inc. (iOS game).
Prior to joining Breakthrough, Dorothy served as Online Editor for Chatelaine Magazine and New Media Manager for the Art Gallery of Ontario.
Dorothy is a graduate of both Queen's University (B.A. Hons) and York University (M.A. Art History).
