Marina oversees the development, financing and distribution of original and third party produced feature films and television movies for Breakthrough Entertainment.
Her experience includes dealing with domestic and international entertainment buyers; from film financiers, government agencies, theatrical distributors, exhibitors, home entertainment outlets, to broadcast networks, non-theatrical distributors and sponsorship investors. Marina is versed in diverse film financing models, from: investment in development to pre-production and post production sales.
Previous posts include: Vice President of International at Norstar Filmed Entertainment, Senior Executive at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment (UK, US) and Senior Sales Executive at Virgin Vision Entertainment (UK). In these roles Cordoni had the opportunity to work on academy award winning movies such as 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', 'Fargo', 'Dead Man Walking' and notable Canadian Feature Films such as 'Regeneration' as well as a number of Television Movies, including CTV's 'Stolen Miracle'.
