Life for Jane Mackenzie (Marion Gilesnan) has suddenly become an uncertainty. Recently widowed, Jane must cope with thoughts of growing older without a partner, financial instability and lack of companionship.
Forced to share her home with boarders, Jane takes in Tomas (Jan Rubes), an older handyman who embraces life and greets the aging process with open arms. The two have an undeniable attraction for one another, but ghosts from the past and disapproval from the present, may deny Jane and Tomas their last chance for a short lifetime of love and passion.
