Inside the Parole Board will look at both sides and will give equal time to the people involved in these very different and challenging high-profile cases. Unlike courtroom trials, parole hearings are no-holds-barred events- no objections, no lawyers, no judge. The players include the members of the parole board who grill the convict and ultimately determine his or her fate.

Everything is on the table, past, present and future. The convict must answer all questions without the help or protection of a lawyer. They are never more exposed, more vulnerable or more fearful. Within the foreboding walls of federal penitentiaries, these convicts not only have to face a tough panel, but often must state their case in front of the victims of these crimes.

Suddenly they are no longer simply the victim; instead they are in a position of power, holding the perpetrator accountable for his or her devastating actions.
