What it’s Like Being Alone shows us life at a dead-end orphanage!
Princess Lucy, a "fat grey mutant thing" covered in warts and wrapped in a pink toilet paper roll, thinks she's being sent to an enchanted castle by her parents, but really she's being dumped at a dead-end orphanage on the edge of nowhere.
What it’s Like Being Alone is a dark and humorous series about a dysfunctional family of freak orphans desperately trying to get adopted. The show uses stop-motion animated figurines/miniatures and computer-generated animation to create a progressive, engrossing, cinematic, dark, silly, melancholy, humorous and a retro world of bizarre adventures.
